The Concept

We rent refurbished or second hand cooking or cleaning equipment. You can book online and come pick it up in Brooklyn. Our appliances are sourced from people in the community or online. We clean and test each appliances between rentals. We will soon offer deliveries in Williamsburg and Greenpoint in Brooklyn.

It will continue making delicious juices for many people. Summer has started (kinda). In one day I learned how to set up Metro shelves in a daily (spoiler: not easy), and I was told that "Green Gooding is ready to talk to investors". Not bad for a small idea that started in Greenpoint two years ago ;-)

Meet Carol of Monger's Palate, our third on-demand rental location since last year. Carol was one of the first people who gave Green Gooding a chance in Greenpoint. Carol first worked as a line cook and developed a passion for cheese, leading her to become an apprentice cheesemaker and assistant manager at a famous cheese shop in NYC. 8 years ago, she fulfilled her lifelong dream of owning her own business and opened Monger's Palate, a paradise for cheese lovers. Carol believes that protecting the environment (and the quality of land and grass) is essential to preserve the flavor of artisanal cheeses and support independent cheesemakers. Smell and savors are more important than words, so come say hello to Carol, taste some cheese....and rent a raclette grill from Green Gooding ;-).
