We rent refurbished or second hand cooking or cleaning equipment. You can book online and come pick it up in Brooklyn. Our appliances are sourced from people in the community or online. We clean and test each appliances between rentals. We will soon offer deliveries in Williamsburg and Greenpoint in Brooklyn.

Like many social enterprises, April was a month of many lows and a great high. ⁠ ⁠ We are not tech people, and our time was consumed by a conflict with a developer ending with us being called birds names, a couple of thousands of dollars wasted..and us thinking that may be that's it. Inventing a new circular economy business model is beyond us...⁠ ...and then a few hours later we got an email saying that Green Gooding was a finalist for the 2024 Reusies, the "oscars" of the circular economy in the US and Canada and that we were invited to Circularity 2024 in Chicago. ⁠ ⁠ So here we go Chicago, we are coming to tell you about Green Gooding and partner with other good fellows to bring the circular economy to people's home. ⁠ ⁠ Also if you have not voted for Green Gooding, yet..do not worry: cast your vote for Green Gooding in the Consumer Packaged Good category before May 19th: https://www.thereusies.org/vote⁠ ⁠ Long life to Green Gooding and the good people of Greenpoint⁠

Even more important, though, is the volunteer stewardship projects taking place in the morning, from 10am to noon: you can sign up for activities like invasive species removal with the Bee Conservancy, Fort Jay cleanup with the Nation­al Park Service, and Laven­der Field care with Earth Mat­ter.
