Professional Carpet Cleaner Instructions
Thanks for renting a professional Carpet Cleaner with Green Gooding
Here are some instructions to help you make the best use of this equipment.
1.Attach the vacuum hose and the brass quick disconnect
Open the bag and connect the hose to the top of the cleaner (green) next to the handle. Connect the quick connect the bottom part (black) just under the handle.
2.Fill the clean water tank (black) with a solution
To fill the base unit (black) with warm water, the recovery tank (green) must be removed. Turn the rotating lock in the back (next to the wire) and, lift the recovery slowly and at an angle. Fill to approximately 4 inches from the top. Use a liquid laundry detergent or carpet cleaning solution. Replace the tank by lining up the tank bottom with the indentations on the machine. Press down firmly on the tank and secure the lock at the back.
3.Plug the cleaner
Plug into a grounded outlet
4.Start the pump/ Vacuum
NEVER run the vacuum only with the pump on for more than 3 minutes. Water/ solution needs to run through pump at all times to keep the pump cool.
5.Spray, scrub and vacuum
Spray the area you want to clean with the flex hose (water release button under the hose) with the spray trigger released. To lift away the stain, apply downward pressure on the tool and slowly pull it toward you. Continue until no more dirt can be removed. As a final step, use drying strokes to remove as much moisture as possible. Repeat this step as often as necessary.
6.Empty the dirty water tank and rince it
The spot extractor is designed with a vacuum restrictor to reduce the vacuum when the recovery tank is full. When the vacuum is restricted, the liquid will not travel up the nozzle of the hand tool. The motor speeds up (the sound of the motor will change) and this is your warning to dispose the of recovered solutions. Empty the dirty water tank as often as you need. When done cleaning rince the tank with clean water. (tip: vacuum clean water a few times to clean the hose and the tank)
We hope these tips have helped you become more familiar.
Thanks again
