Raclette Grill Instructions
Thanks for renting a Raclette Grill with Green Gooding.
Here are a few steps you want to follow to make sure that everything goes well and everyone enjoy a good time. Scroll down for recipes.
1.Setting Up
Line up grill plate with side supports and position into place. Place raclette dishes onto tray surface. Plug electrical cord into power outlet
2) Starting
Before using marinated foods, lightly oil or grease grill plate. Never use nonstick cooking spray as it will burn onto the grill. Heat nonstick grill plate for 8-10 minutes at the highest level. Once heated, turn temperature control knob to required level.
3) Cooking
Place a slice of cheese into raclette dish for each person and place under the grill top to melt. After two or three minutes, the cheese should have melted. Scoop it out of the raclette dish with the individual spatula, et voila!!
4) Cleaning
Unplug appliance before cleaning. Allow appliance to cool off, wipe with damp cloth – Do not immerse in water. Wash grill plates, raclette dishes and spatulas in warm water with mild detergent. Do not use steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive cleaners.
Recipe: Traditional Raclette
2 lbs small new potatoes
1 1/2 lbs raclette cheese, cut into slices
Side dishes:
A selection of dried meats, proscuitto, parma ham, baguettes, gherkins, pickled
onions, Fresh pepper.
Wash the potatoes and boil them in their skin until cooked. Place the potatoes, cheese and all side dishes on the table. Place a slice of cheese into raclette dish for each person and place under the grill top to melt. When the cheese has melted scrape onto each person’s plate of potatoes, gherkins and pickled onions. Grind fresh pepper on top and enjoy with dried meats and baguette.
