What hosts ask us before they book.
Folding tables start around $20 for 48 hours from a neighbor. Folding chairs are usually rented in bulk from local party shops, where published prices start near $2 per chair per day. Most shops only take orders from about $250 — which is exactly why we send your whole list as one request. Chairs on their own rarely clear a shop's minimum; chairs plus tables plus everything else does.
Describe your event and we build the list for you, then check both neighbors' listings and local rental shops. Some items you can book instantly. For the rest we send your list to a nearby shop and come back within 24 hours, either way.
Some listings offer delivery and some are pickup only. Rental shops almost always deliver, but their delivery charge is quoted separately and is not included in the estimate you see — we ask them for it when we send your request.
For a weekend in spring or summer, a couple of weeks is comfortable. Tables and chairs go quickly around graduations and holidays. If you're working to a fixed date, send the list early — a shop's answer takes up to 24 hours.

Smaller items usually come from someone nearby. A folding table for a backyard birthday, a projector for an outdoor movie night, a cooler for a block party — these are listed by people in your neighborhood and can be booked directly. Anything that needs volume, like a hundred chairs or full place settings for a catered dinner, comes from a rental shop instead. We send them your list, they confirm price and availability, and you hear back within 24 hours either way.
You don't need to know what a party requires before you start. Describe the event — a graduation lunch for twenty, a wedding in a backyard, a company dinner for forty — and we work out the equipment it needs, separate what you genuinely can't do without from what would simply make it better, and let you cut the list down before we go looking. What you keep is what we search for.
Prices are published by the owner or read from the shop's own rate card, and we tell you which. A shop's delivery charge is quoted separately rather than folded into an estimate, because a figure you later have to walk back is worse than one you never gave.
